Saskatoon Berry x 'Lee #3': A Compact Saskatoon with Early Summer Fruit

Lee #3 combines a compact, tidy outline with white spring flowers and blueberry-like fruit in early summer. Its self-pollinating nature makes it convenient for a smaller edible planting.

Plant Characteristics:

• Height: 150-175 cm
• Spread: 150-175 cm
• Flower Colour: White
• Flowering Period: Early Spring
• Foliage: Green
• Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun / Partial Sun

Uses and Benefits: Use it where accessible fruit and a restrained shrub size are priorities. The berries suit pies and jam, while the spring blossom adds a decorative start to the season.

Care Instructions: Plant in sun with fertile, well-drained soil and maintain moisture while the roots establish. Renew ageing stems gradually and protect ripening berries from birds if the crop is intended for the kitchen.
