Peach x 'Redhaven'

Peach x 'Redhaven': A Long Picking Window for Redhaven Peaches

Redhaven produces large peaches with red and yellow colouring, juicy flesh and a sweet flavour. Its freestone crop begins around late July and ripens progressively rather than all at once.

Plant Characteristics:

• Height: 4-5 m
• Spread: 3-4 m
• Flower Colour: Pink
• Flowering Period: Early Spring
• Foliage: Green
• Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun
• Soil Requirements: Moist to Average Soil; Well-Drained Soil

Uses and Benefits: An adaptable peach for fresh eating, canning, freezing and baking. The extended picking window suits households that prefer several smaller harvests over one large batch.

Care Instructions: Thin heavy fruit early and keep the canopy well lit. Maintain moisture through the growing season, then check the tree regularly and pick ripe peaches individually instead of clearing every branch at once.
