Peach x 'Baby Gold 5': Firm Clingstone Peaches for Preserving

Baby Gold 5 produces reddish-orange peaches with firm yellow flesh that holds to the stone. The late-August crop is especially useful when the harvest is destined for the kitchen.

Plant Characteristics:

• Height: 6-7 m
• Spread: 3-4 m
• Flower Colour: Pink
• Flowering Period: Early Spring / Spring
• Foliage: Green
• Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun
• Soil Requirements: Well-Drained Soil; Moist to Average Soil

Uses and Benefits: Choose it for baking, freezing and canning rather than prioritising an easily separated pit. The firm flesh helps with processing larger batches of fruit.

Care Instructions: Grow in sun with good airflow and drainage. Thin heavy crops and inspect fruit regularly, as this selection can be susceptible to bacterial spot and brown rot. Remove damaged fruit promptly.
