Nectarine x 'Flavortop': Red Nectarines with Fragrant Spring Flowers

Flavortop produces large red nectarines with yellow flesh and a rich sweet-tangy flavour. Fragrant pink spring flowers lead to an August crop on this self-fruiting tree.

Plant Characteristics:

• Height: 6-7 m
• Spread: 5-6 m
• Flower Colour: Pink
• Flowering Period: Early Spring
• Foliage: Green
• Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun
• Soil Requirements: Well-Drained Soil; Moist to Average Soil

Uses and Benefits: A useful single-tree choice for a fresh nectarine harvest. The combination of showy blossom and summer fruit gives it a strong role in a working orchard.

Care Instructions: Maintain a sunny, open canopy and reliable moisture without waterlogging. Thin excessive fruit, renew younger fruiting growth and harvest the red nectarines once their aroma and flesh show maturity.
