Haskap x 'Borealis': Large Haskap Berries with Excellent Flavour

Borealis produces large tubular blue berries with an especially appealing flavour. Its June harvest is suited to careful hand-picking rather than mechanical harvesting.

Plant Characteristics:

• Height: 125-150 cm
• Spread: 125-150 cm
• Flower Colour: Yellow
• Flowering Period: Spring
• Foliage: Green
• Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun
• Soil Requirements: Moist to Average Soil; Well-Drained Soil

Uses and Benefits: Choose it for a home fruit garden where flavour and a manageable fresh harvest are priorities. Plant with a compatible haskap such as Aurora to provide the overlapping flowers needed for fruit.

Care Instructions: Maintain organic-rich, well-drained soil and good sunlight. Pick gently only when the berry interior is purple-red; blue skins can appear before the fruit has developed its full flavour.
