Grape x 'Trollhaugen'

Grape x 'Trollhaugen': Dark Seedless Grapes with Layered Flavour

Trollhaugen carries medium-sized seedless grapes that darken from blue toward black. Their sweet flavour can suggest peach and blueberry with a lightly spicy note, and the crop generally ripens in early September.

Plant Characteristics:

• Height: 300-360 cm
• Spread: 180-300 cm
• Flower Colour: Cream
• Flowering Period: Spring
• Foliage: Green
• Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun
• Soil Requirements: Average to Dry Soil; Moist to Average Soil; Well-Drained Soil

Uses and Benefits: Choose it for distinctive fresh table grapes and an earlier dark-fruited harvest. A trellis keeps bunches accessible and gives the spreading vine an organised framework.

Care Instructions: Prune during dormancy, tie new shoots to the support and keep the canopy from crowding the bunches. Taste the fruit as it matures so the complex flavour has time to develop.
