Cherry-shrub x 'Juliet'

Cherry-shrub x 'Juliet': Sweet Cherries with a Broad Shrub Canopy

Juliet offers large, dark cherries with a sweet flavour, generally ready from early to mid-August. The broad shrub carries the crop at an approachable scale for a home fruit garden.

Plant Characteristics:

• Height: 200-250 cm
• Spread: 175-200 cm
• Flower Colour: White
• Flowering Period: Spring
• Foliage: Green
• Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun
• Soil Requirements: Moist to Average Soil; Well-Drained Soil

Uses and Benefits: Choose it for fresh cherries from a smaller planting than a conventional orchard tree. Give the spreading canopy enough room to make picking comfortable.

Care Instructions: Plant in full sun and maintain moisture through the fruiting season. Prune crowded or damaged stems selectively, protect the developing crop from birds and wait for deep colour before picking.
