Buxus microphylla 'Winter Beauty'

Buxus microphylla 'Winter Beauty': Glossy Foliage with Seasonal Warmth

Winter Beauty carries glossy green leaves on a rounded upright framework, bringing continuity to the planting through the seasons. Orange and bronze-green tones appear in fall, adding warmth as the garden changes. Small fragrant flowers are a spring detail, but the enduring foliage and balanced form remain its strongest features.

Plant Characteristics:

• Height: 100-125 cm
• Spread: 60-80 cm
• Flower Colour: Green
• Flowering Period: Early Spring

Care Instructions:

Favour cool, moist roots and some mid-afternoon shade. Watch for accumulated ice or snow that can break stems, and protect exposed young plants from drying winds. Remove damaged branches selectively rather than heavily reducing the entire crown.
