Apple x 'Scarlet Sentinel'

Apple x 'Scarlet Sentinel': A Column of Red-Blushed Apples

Scarlet Sentinel carries crisp, very juicy apples with red-blushed skins on a narrow, columnar tree. The sweet crop generally ripens in mid-September, bringing fruit production into a compact footprint.

Plant Characteristics:

• Flower Colour: White, Pale Pink
• Flowering Period: Spring
• Foliage: Green
• Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun
• Soil Requirements: Well-Drained Soil; Average to Dry Soil

Uses and Benefits: Use this upright apple where a broad orchard tree would occupy too much space. Its shape suits narrow planting areas while still delivering an accessible harvest.

Care Instructions: Plant near a compatible apple flowering at the same time. Keep the main upright structure intact and remove competing growth selectively. Water during fruit development and thin close clusters for better-sized apples.
