Its dense outline suits both a formal hedge and an individual specimen. Selected for resistance to boxwood blight and leafminer, it still benefits from good airflow and sensible care. Winter exposure can bring bronze tones to the leaves. Regular shaping helps retain the close, balanced form that makes this selection useful.

Plant Characteristics:

Height: Approximately 105 cm

Spread: Approximately 105 cm

Flower Colour: Green; inconspicuous

Flowering Period: Spring

Foliage: Green

Sunlight Requirements: Full Sun / Partial Sun / Full Shade

Soil Requirements: Well-drained soil; neutral to alkaline

Uses and Benefits:

Grow NewGen Freedom as a rounded specimen, a clipped hedge or a green framework for a foundation bed. Shape regularly after new growth develops to control its vigorous shoots.
